Mustapha Kerkoud founded MKPDesign in 2019 with a clear vision: to create an architectural practice built on trust, transparency and honest advice.
With undergraduate and Master's degrees in Architecture from Kingston University, alongside experience in established architectural practices, he developed a strong foundation in architectural design, planning applications and technical delivery.
Through this experience, he saw too many projects taken on without properly considering whether they were likely to be approved. Clients were often paying for drawings and applications with very little chance of success. That approach never sat right with him.
At MKPDesign, clients are given a clear understanding from the outset of what is likely to be approved, what may be difficult, and where the planning risks are.
The practice focuses on residential architecture across London and Surrey, specialising in extensions, loft conversions and home reconfiguration. The aim is straightforward: to create homes that not only look better, but work better in everyday life.
